About Batumi Botanical Garden
A large botanical garden laid out in 1912 on the coastal hills at Mtsvane Kontskhi (Green Cape), north of Batumi, with Colchic forest and plant collections from several continents, sea views and long terraced paths.

Georgia in 14 Days — Private Tour incl. Svaneti & Batumi
Two weeks is enough to see most of Georgia's main regions without a long transfer every day. By private car with an English-speaking driver-guide (Russian-speaking on request) you cover Tbilisi and Mtskheta, two nights in Kakheti's wine country, two nights in Kazbegi (which also absorbs a Jvari Pass closure in spring or autumn), Uplistsikhe, Borjomi and the Vardzia cave monastery, Kutaisi and Gelati, the Martvili canyon, two nights in Mestia with a day in Ushguli under Mt Shkhara, and the Black Sea at Batumi. The evening train brings you back to Tbilisi. Hotels and guesthouses, breakfasts, several dinners including a Svan supper, the listed entrance fees and the train are included. Four days have 5–6 hours of driving. Svaneti's main season runs from June to September, and part of Vardzia has been closed since May 2026.
Western Georgia in 6 Days — Canyons, Svaneti & Batumi, Private
Six days in Georgia's green west by private car with an English-speaking driver-guide (Russian-speaking on request): Prometheus cave and the Martvili canyon near Kutaisi, two nights in Upper Svaneti for Mestia and Ushguli beneath Mt Shkhara, and two nights on the Black Sea at Batumi with Gonio fortress and the Botanical Garden. The first night is in Kutaisi, so no day starts with the 460 km drive from Tbilisi to Mestia. The Mestia–Batumi day is long (5–6 hours of driving), and at the end you take the evening train back to Tbilisi or fly home from Batumi. Hotels, breakfasts, two dinners, the Martvili and Prometheus boats and the listed entrance fees are included; lunches are not. Late May to mid-October.
Grand Tour of Georgia — 10-Day Private Tour, Mountains to the Black Sea
Ten days through Georgia's east, south and west by private car with an English-speaking driver-guide (Russian-speaking on request). You start with Tbilisi, Mtskheta and a Kakheti wine day, then drive the Military Highway to a night in Kazbegi under Mt Kazbek. From there you go south to Uplistsikhe and Borjomi and on to the Vardzia cave monastery, Khertvisi and Rabati. In the west you visit Kutaisi with UNESCO-listed Gelati Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral, Prometheus cave, and finish on the Black Sea at Batumi with Gonio fortress and the Botanical Garden. Instead of a 6-hour drive back from Batumi you take the evening train to Tbilisi (or fly home from Batumi). This route does not go to Svaneti; for the high mountains see the 14-day tour. Days 5 and 7 are long driving days, and part of Vardzia has been closed since May 2026.
