ვარძია — მიმოხილვა
მტკვრის ზემოთ კლდეში გამოკვეთილი ვარძია XII საუკუნის ქვაბთა ქალაქია, რომელიც დედოფალმა თამარმა საქართველოს ოქროს ხანაში დააარსა. 1283 წლის მიწისძვრამ კლდის გარეთა ფენა ჩამოშალა და კამერების ლაბირინთი გამოაჩინა. მიძინების ეკლესიაში დაცულია ორიგინალი ფრესკები — მათ შორის თვით თამარის პორტრეტი. ასევე შეგიძლიათ დაათვალიეროთ ამ იუნესკოს მსოფლიო მემკვიდრეობის ძეგლის სამეფო პალატები, ქვევრის მარნები, კლდეში გამოკვეთილი სამრეკლო და დაფარული გვირაბები.
