Kazbegi / Ananuri 

Trip along Georgian Military Highway, north from Tbilisi, to Kazbegi (160km), by crossing the Main Caucasian Range at Jvari Pass (2395m.). On the road a short stop at Ananuri Fortress. Arrival Kazbegi (1700m). Explore the area and enjoy the views of Mt. Kazbek (5047m). Ride on the jeep 4X4 with the driver to the top of the mountain towards
Saint Trinity Church with scenic views. Possible the trip to the wonderful in The Daryal Gorge. Return Tbilisi.

David Gareji Monastery 

David Gareji is situated deep in semi-desert about 80 km from Tbilisi. The Monasteries were founded in the 6 century by the Christian Father St. David. Walk up to Udabno to explore some of the fine frescos of the 8th-13th c. and cave architecture. Visit "Lavra". Return Tbilisi 

Duration:  7  hours. 

 

Signagi, Telavi, Alaverdi, Shuamta. 

Arrival in Signagi - ancient city, also known as te City of Love, with stone-paved streets and the balconies in old - Georgian style, the inspection of fortress shielding wall and ancient church. Drive to Telavi, Visit King Erekle’s Palace- museum, than drive to Aleverdi monestery (12c) which was tallest church in the Caucasus and  Ikalto monastery (6c).

Gori & Uplistsikhe 

Trip to Gori. Visiting of a house - museum of J. Stalin, trip to a Uplistsikhe - fortress in a rock of VI century up to AD), Visit Ateni Sioni church (7th c.)

Kazbegi Mountain

 Shatili
 
Day 1: Drive along River Aragvi Valley, Pshavi province and cross Datvis Jvari Pass (2768m) on the Greater Caucasus down to Pirikita Khevsureti. Arrive village Shatili and excursion in the Shatili Fortress. Night in Shatili. Day 2: Optional trip in the river Andaki Valley to visit the fortress of Mutso. Return Tbilisi.
 

 

Kutaisi

Day 1: Drive to Visit Gori. Optional visit to J. Stalin Museum. Excursion to Uplistsikhe cave town (7th c. BC.). Visit Ateni Sioni church (7th c.). Continue to Kutaisi. Night in Kutaisi at the guesthouse. Day 2: Excursion to Bagrati Temple (11th c) and Gelati Monastery (12th c.). Return Tbilisi.

Day 1: Drive from Tbilisi drive to Mestia (520km. 9 - 10 hr drive). Overnight in Mestia. Day 2: Explore Mestia and visit (walking) Mestia Museum and Svanetian House, etc.. Overnight in Mestia.
